DEGREE COMPLETION COHORT POSSIBILITIES

anticipated commencements Fall 2001 and/or January 2002

Arts, Applied Science (IT), Business, EC Teacher Education, Recreation Studies

Your one previously-completed postsecondary year, plus another with us = the associate.
Your three previously-completed postsecondary years, plus another with us = the bachelor.
Your previously-completed bachelor, plus another year with us = 2nd bachelor, new subject;
or, with substantial thesis = master degree.

Cohorts (study groups) are possible at various completion levels in Arts, Applied Science (IT), Business Studies, Early Childhood Teacher Education, and Recreation Studies - all of them with experiential and information technology components. These could be full-time or extended part-time programs, depending upon needs as detailed to us by responding candidates, faculty availability, and potential sponsor interest. We'd like to hear from companies, societies, or other community groups/patrons, who would be interested in sponsoring/contracting a cohort (study group). Our current delivery practice is via sponsored cohorts, rather than offer of training to the general public. Please email any queries, suggestions, etc to - and, if a prospective student, send a summary of your previous learning and your subject matter interest. Provide your telephone number with area code.

Vancouver University is a consortium of constituent and affiliate colleges, globally located. Some of the above options - and additional ones - are also available at locations abroad. Vancouver University subscribes to various academic and quality-assurance organizations. The list is at memberships. Constituent and affiliate colleges have representation entitlement in the VU Colleges Society and Faculty Council. Vancouver University's name and statutory constitution were approved by the AETT Ministry (BC) 1983, 1992. We have awarded bachelor and graduate degrees since those dates, as well as the associate degree since 1970. [We commenced programs in BC and Washington State in 1970]. Guests of Honour handing out and collaterally endorsing our degrees at Convocations have included former BC Premiers Mike Harcourt and Rita Johnston, and Official Opposition Advanced Education Critic (Liberal) Wilf Hurd.
