When you are lacking - for example - one or more courses for a particular degree designation, you will be advised how to deal with the need. Completion requirements may be more courses, writing a thesis/dissertation, field work, proctored examination, etc. Courses may be taken at a member college or other local (to you) credible institution, or on-line or by correspondence.

For on-line and correspondence courses, search options include various general or teacher education listings.
