Alumni Association. The worldwide Vancouver University Alumni Association (Singapore) is recognized by, and registered with, the Government of Singapore. All (worldwide) alumni are entitled to be associate members. (Under Singapore law, alumni resident in Singapore are - there - the formal full members, managing the Association on behalf of all (worldwide) alumni. Our Singapore alumni are a proactive group. With the approval of our university Board, a group of Singapore alumni are - with CPPD - facilitating the launching of a Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) qualification, in association with the American Association of Financial Management (AAFM). AAFM is a graduate professional body which recognizes our Singapore financial management MBA graduates. We expect that our CWM qualification will be endorsed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Our financial services MBA in Singapore is already endorsed by the Life Insurers Association of Singapore. To join the Alumni Association (Singapore), contact Dr. B. C. Ghosh [bcghosh @ singnet.com.sg], Dean of the South Asia and Pacific Islands region of worldwide Vancouver University.

Su Korbitz wrote in 2005 to say "I thought I would let you know how helpful your program has been to me. We used to live in an extremly remote part of Colorado. It was rather difficult to travel to the closest four year college, raise a family, work, etc. Through your program, I was able to pool all the classes I had taken over the years for a bachelors degree, then my alternate teaching certificate and finally, this year, a professional teaching certificate. Thank you." Mark Korbitz also has our degree - a Master in physical geography.

Anthony Ralston (ref O), now Educational Technology Coordinator, College of New Caledonia, Prince George BC, has been accepted into the Deakin University (Australia) Master program in on-line learning.
